Shifting focus to look backwards I look towards a practice that has always been co-optive, collaborative and co-created. Rooting in the present, I hope to continue with through a continued  ethic that holds a more plant like recognition of the affectual and effectual agency of everything - from minerals to sunlight to darkness and the interior spaces inhabited by bacteria, symbiotic cells, the neural pathways of grey matter and soil. It is attempt to heal the the conditioning of tradable self and look towards a more ecological and socially cohesive view, to encounter the unknown beyond the narcissism of any recognisable notion of self, towards an ethics of encountering difference.

And so, this project - an exploration of plant ontology. And non expansive loci of power and relating. And our communal selves as they are, inherently, and especially now, rooted in the local.
